Creating a personalized color voice is an important tool for the development of any painter. This 2-day workshop will explore interpreting color in reference material, simplifying subject matter, and abstracting a scene as the means to strengthening the composition and concept of a painting.

OIL & COLD WAX with Lisa Mann December 14-15, 2019 9:30am - 4pm In this 2 day intensive and interactive workshop Lisa  will introduce the process of using oil and cold wax to create meaningful paintings through layering, textures, color, and visual storytelling. In addition to the  techniques of working in oils and cold wax medium, we will also cover the fundamentals of abstract art elements to help you evaluate your work.

Spring Chinese Brush Painting, Cindy Lommasson

Open to all levels of artists, this Chinese brush painting workshop will give you the necessary skills to produce paintings of a peony and a variety of insects such as bees, dragonflies and butterflies.
