Open to all levels of artists, this Chinese brush painting workshop will give you the necessary skills to produce paintings of a peony and a variety of insects such as bees, dragonflies and butterflies.

Optional supply purchase from instructor: $25 (includes watercolors, ink, felt cloth, ceramic mixing dish, all paper for the day), does not include purchase of brushes, which may be borrowed from instructor at no extra charge.     cindylommasson.com

Have you wanted to learn the ancient traditional technique of CBP - Chinese Brush Painting? CBP is thousands of years old and is done with ink, sometimes watercolor, and Xuan (rice) paper. CBP is also known as 'Ink Wash Painting' and 'Sumi-e' in Japan. 

Sumi =ink and Sumi-e = ink  painting.
