Whichever fits your schedule!

Joanne demonstrates (after 10) and discusses the process she uses to paint floral's for the national market place as it applies to the days lesson.

Students work on a staged still life or independently.
All levels welcome in a safe learning environment.

You'll be painting or drawing in your medium of preference. Joanne paints in oils and has oil materials on hand if you are missing something or would like to try oils for the first time.

"Indoor Gardens"

2nd THURSDAY DEMO    March 9, 11 am
Doors open at 10am. Demo at 11am
Buffet Lunch at 12:15pm

 Joanne Radmilovich Kollman has created large floral paintings for a national market and will demo her “Indoor Gardens” while discussing tapping into the artist within each of us.

Joanne’s representational oil paintings of the figure, landscape and still life are identifiable by a lyrical style and unique eye for design. Brushwork and use of broken color elicit movement and spontaneity in her work.

Radmilovich-Kollman has been awarded numerous grants through the Regional Arts and Culture Council, has juried into Portland Open Studios yearly and has received many awards in plein air competitions and juried exhibitions.

Joanne teaches and shares studio space as an Artist-In-Residence at OSA. She conducts life paintings sessions on Fridays and teaches classes, workshops and private lessons.

Get ready! Friday, September 23rd. 

(noon to prep materials and settle in)
1-4 pm $25 drop in class

Joanne will demo exercises to get ready for large format painting.
Gesso some large pieces of cardboard or mat-board. Bring reference  8x10 color copy.

Bring your prepared panels, canvas or board for painting and color studies.
