Pastels

7-week Winter session: Pastels with Brenda Boylan
Tuesdays Nov 15-Jan 3, 2017

Back by popular demand, this 7-week pastel series provides students a fun, and exciting pace of thorough pastel instruction.

In this course we will cover everything pastel that is 'chalk full' of information with plenty of time to practice and finish several pieces. Your knowledge and skill will build up to a point where confidence will be built in the medium through a progression of exercises on the many aspects of pastels. This is a great course for those who wish to discover the medium, learn about pastel on a broader level, and for those who have taken my course in prior workshop settings and wish to continue their education with me. Class will not be held on Dec 27th for Winter break. Brenda is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, the Northwest Pastel Society, the Laguna Plein Air Painters and teaches on a national stage.
