BOW: Beyond OSA Walls!

BOW enables OSA to extend our exhibition program outside OSA gallery walls. Many of our shows now travel to Cedar Sinai Park's Independent living facility, Rose Schnitzer Manor.

Oregon Society of Artists is proud to partner with PDX Jazz to host the 2019 PDX Jazz Album Cover Exhibition at Cedar Sinai Park, a local nonprofit assisted living center. Don’t miss the reception on Sunday, May 19th, 3-5pm at Cedar Sinai Park, 6140 SW Boundary St., Portland, OR 97221.

Jazz in the Schools, is an innovative program of PDX Jazz that teaches 3,000 students annually about jazz music’s most important contributors and its historical connection to visual art. Students discover how the visual art associated with jazz also played an important role in shaping culture of the 20th century. Students are given the assignment of creating their own original jazz album cover.
