Visitors are welcome!   IN THE GALLERY Watercolor Society of Oregon 2019 Spring Experimental Show April 8 - 30 OSA welcomes the Watercolor Society of Oregon to the OSA Gallery. The WSO Spring Experimental Show features some of Oregon's best watercolor artists, and is a must-see experience. From an original entry field of 286 paintings by 172 artists, 80 paintings were juried into the show by internationally-known water medium artist Jean Pederson. OSA is well-represented in the show, which includes many of our own instructors and students. OSA congratulates the exhibiting artists.   Alice Tetamore, Hanging Out in Costa Ric CALLS TO ARTISTS Student/Teacher Exhibit May 4 - 22 Reception: Sunday, May 5, 1 - 3pm  Art take-in: Thursday, May 2, 10am - 4pm Friday, May 3, 10am - 1pm Last day of Show: Wednesday, May 22 Art pick-up: Thursday, May 23, 10am - 4pm Friday, May 24, 10am - 1pm (Art must be picked up by May 24th to avoid a $10 fee)   Emily Fox, Primary Still-life (Student of Alan Scott-Moncrieff) The month of May brings our annual opportunity for OSA students and their instructors to showcase artwork created at OSA. Students may bring in unlimited paintings finished in classes & workshops held at OSA during Fall 2018, Winter 2019, and Spring 2019. Please identify at Take-in your instructor/class. Entry Fees: $25 for 1-2 paintings, additional paintings $5 each. The Student/Teacher Exhibit presents a great opportunity to dive deeper into OSA by volunteering! Please refer to entry fees and framing rules. Adherence to these guidelines insures your painting will be eligible for the show. 37th Annual Portland Rose Festival Art Show June 2 - 24 Juror: Lian Quan Zhen Reception and Awards Presentation: Reception: Sunday, June 2, 1 - 4pm Awards ceremony at 2:00pm OSA is proud to host the 37th Annual Portland Rose Festival Art Show. We extend an invitation to local and regional artists to participate. Chris Helton, Rosalie 2018 Grand Prize winner This year's categories are: CATEGORY #1: “Roses” CATEGORY #2 “Let’s Festival” (2019 Rose Festival Theme), includes: Portland Scenes Rose Festival Scenes Artists may submit a total of 2 paintings.
