Watercolor Tuesday 10am-1 Nov 1
This week we continue lessons about architecture in the landscape. This week our motive is the Golden Gate Bridge I will begin with a charcoal value study do work out the drawing and composition and use that as a guide for a watercolor painting demonstration. The lesson starts with a critique so bring in any drawings or paintings you would like feedback on. (Limit 2).

 
Drawing Fundamentals Tuesday 2-4pm Nov 1

This lesson begins our study of the human head. We will study this complicated and rewarding subject by rendering it in light and shadow, chiaroscuro. Bring a good size sketchbook and charcoal, drawing pencil or watercolor.

Drawing and Watercolor Wednesday 630-830pm Nov 2
We had a good discussion last week about philosophy of art. Then painted a winter landscape in a tonal palette. This week we will discuss color theory. Contact me for the reference photo. I begin with a charcoal value study then continue with a watercolor demonstration.
