This will be a 3 day workshop focused on creating a Batik using watercolors on Enryu rice paper. 
Kristie will meet each student individually to help with their own photo (or they have the option of using one of the instructors) focusing on technique, composition and design.

OSA Instructor Steve Kleier discusses how to plan a landscape painting effectively. While he will be doing the demo in watercolor, the techniques he will share apply to any medium. As one student shares, "I have learned much from Steve over the past five years about drawing, perspective, painting loose and using a limited palette."

Fall Class Spotlight at OSA

Fall Class Spotlight:
Variety in Watercolors:  Tuesdays, 10am - 1pm
Series begins with painting harmonies and textures in nature, then moves to rendering people, city scenes and more.

After-Hours Watercolor Painting:  Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:30pm
Designed for working people who want to relax and learn together. Explore drawing and painting skills and ideas. Paint the simple harmonies and textures in nature: skies, rocks, trees, and water.

$25 drop-in.  Join anytime, each day is a complete lesson
Expressive Oil Painting, Fresh Flower Still Life:  Saturdays: 1:30 - 4:30pm

Paint a new, colorful, fresh flower still life every week.  Work on your oil painting skills and expressive mark making.  Classes include instruction, demonstrations, and individual help.  Instructor is specialized in expressive alla-prima florals.

Pastel Fundamentals and More: Beginning and Intermediate Levels

Everything pastel!  Build upon your skill, understanding, and confidence in the medium through a progression of exercises on the many aspects of pastels.  A great course for those who wish to discover the medium, learn about pastel on a broader level, or who wish to push their pastel work to the next level.
