OSA welcomes PPF for this joint exhibit. Expect to see photopraphs produced in a myraid of ways - from pinhole and toy cameras to large format view cameras. The work may be digital, traditional color, and black and white, silver, ink jet or platinum. Come experience photography as fine art!

This year's Annual 200 for Under $200 Art Show and Sale breaks the record with 125 participating artists from the Portland area and beyond. With, actually, over 200 12" x 12" panels priced at or below $200, you don't want to miss this exhibit! Join us at the opening reception for awards and prize drawings on November 1, 6-9pm. Planning Your Landscape

OSA Instructor Steve Kleier discusses how to plan a landscape painting effectively. While he will be doing the demo in watercolor, the techniques he will share apply to any medium. As one student shares, "I have learned much from Steve over the past five years about drawing, perspective, painting loose and using a limited palette."

Join Poca Kim as she discusses her unique artistic process of working with large scale collage and mixed media. A figurative oil painter, Kim was born and raised in South Korea where she loved to write poetry. Painting became her mode of artistic expression after she studied oil painting at Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas

WATERCOLOR BATIK ON RICE PAPER

This will be a 3 day workshop focused on creating a Batik using watercolors on Enryu rice paper. 
Kristie will meet each student individually to help with their own photo (or they have the option of using one of the instructors) focusing on technique, composition and design.
