NEW FALL CLASSES
Introduction to Drawing, Composition & Art History 101
Greg Lewis
September 24 - December 10 | Tuesdays, 1 - 4pm
This 3-term program is aimed at people interested in doing art but have little or no skills. Lessons will be sequential and a 1-year program. "Introduction to Drawing, Composition & Art History 101" will be offered during Fall term. "The Head and Figure 122" will be offered during Winter term. "Land and Cityscape" will be offered Spring term. Certificate given upon completion. 
Introduction to Drawing, Composition & Art History 101
Let’s start from the very beginning with these exciting lessons that will unleash your inner artist. This class is for those that are totally new to art or never got the basics. Express yourself with the fundamentals of composition, drawing and art history. Greg Lewis is an experienced college teacher who creates a relaxed and interesting environment.

 Drawing and Painting on the iPad
Elaine Pawski
September 18 - November 20 | Wednesdays, 6 - 9pm
Whether you are interested in digital painting as the end result, or simply a tool to help with sketches and pre-planning your traditional paintings, this class will make your iPad an integral part of your art supplies. We will be working mainly in Procreate, and a little in Sketchbook. We will work on a variety of projects in different styles of art, as well as on photographs of your traditional media work. Portrait Sculpture
Chris Waddell
September 19 - December 12 | Thursdays, 5:30 - 8:30pm
We will learn many of the fundamentals of sculpting the portrait using classical casts as reference then graduate to using a live model. This course will focus on teaching the forms of the human head. The course will be valuable in terms of understanding form in real space and when approaching any form in nature. 2D artists will enhance their skills by utilizing the principles taught in this course. Graphic 3D artists will also enhance their skills by gaining a better understanding of the figure and 3 dimensional forms.

Portrait Drawing from Life
Nathan Seay
October 11 - December 20 (no class 10/25)  | Fridays, 6 - 9pm
This comprehensive class spans the entire process of constructing a head though observation of a live model. Students can expect thorough class demonstrations, as well as one-on-one feedback.
