In this workshop, Margaret will demonstrate several ways of creating patterns and collage materials, then show ways to use them in your art to make your work unique and more meaningful. As a story-telling artist, Margaret will help you bring more content and ideas into your art. There will be daily demos and  Margaret will work with each individual.

The marriage of watercolor with pen and ink can be magical. This three day workshop will look at how to incorporate Pen and Ink in a dynamic watercolor painting. Day one begins with looking at the different pen strokes and the ways pen techniques are used in a painting, then applying that to a piece to be completed with watercolor. On days two and three you will explore textures and pen and ink in a more freestyle way. You will create your own small watercolor journal to use with our pen and ink techniques, and Anji will demonstrate some tips and tricks on how to prepare a journal for future paintings.
