Glazing and Layering in Acrylic

In his demo, Wayne Jiang will explore his glazing and layering in acrylic, emulating techniques used by the old Dutch masters. Wayne Jiang combines the aesthetic of 17th century Baroque paintings and composition of modern documentary photography. His work has been widely exhibited in museums and galleries such as Triton Museum, Crocker Museum, Sanchez Art Center, History San Jose and Solomon Dubnick Gallery.
Doors open at 10am. The demonstration is followed by an informal luncheon.
