The human head is an endlessly fascination subject. In this series of classes we will learn all about how to draw and paint it with skill and confidence. We will do young people, old people, different ethnic groups and expressions.

Learning the language of Light and Color with Michael Orwick

This awesome 8 week course is going to be full of Michael's favorite color mixes and his tips and tricks to help take your paintings to the next level.
Experience hands on the keys to color relationships and harmony that portray emotion.
Learn new color schemes while exploring your personal color response through Hue, Temperature, Value and Saturation.

Michael shares how artists of any level can bring more energy and better engagement to their work.
This is your opportunity to discover how to manifest Mood and painterly poetry through your brushes.

They are held Mondays at Oregon Society of Arts 9:30 - 12:30

Beginning Watercolor

Beginning Watercolor II session:

Dates: January 12, 19, 26   -   February 9, 16, 23   -   March 2, 9
Thursdays 9:30am - 12:30pm @ OSA Upstairs Studio

So now you’ve started on your exploration of Watercolor, where do you go next?  In this Beginning Watercolor Step 2, we will take the basics of working in watercolor and begin to develop it by exploring more complex methods and techniques.  We will work with unique subjects and a creative approach to materials to expand on your experience and build confidence with your watercolor style.

This class is good for someone who has had a beginning watercolor class or has worked with watercolor and is familiar with the basics.
